Archbishop of Vienna, the favorite to become the next Catholic Pope has just spoken up… He has surprised the world with this massive statement on our new president-elect Donald Trump. What he said was VERY unexpected… Wow!
According to faithfamilyamerica,
According to reports, Cardinal Christoph Schonborn, the Archbishop of Vienna, has just made a huge statement about incoming U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Many also shook their heads when Ronald Reagan was elected: ‘For God’s sake, an actor from California!’ But Reagan was certainly one of the best presidents the U.S. ever had. So you should not be too quick to judge,” said the Archbishop.
Cardinal Schonborn has long been rumored to be taking the seat as the next Pope of the Catholic Church. His statements carry a lot of weight as he is a globally known leader among Catholics.
Trump, who is openly against abortion, saw a victory among Catholics while he campaigned.
On the U.S. elections, he told Krone Zeitung in an extensive interview last week: “I do not know if Ms. Clinton really would have been the better solution and I do not know whether Mr. Trump is the great misfortune.
“Many also shook their heads when Ronald Reagan was elected: ‘For God’s sake, an actor from California!’ But Reagan was certainly one of the best presidents the U.S. ever had. So you should not be too quick to judge.”
On the European migrant crisis, he said, “We [Europeans] have responded with a great deal of generosity to the refugee crisis… The figures last year were simply dramatically high… The key issue we are facing in Austria is the integration of refugees.”
Well put Cardinal Christoph Schonborn!
